Irish Army is a global Irish lifestyle brand established in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our primary goal is to supply athleisure and sportswear clothing that is comfortable to wear, looks good, and reflects our easy going attitude to life. The brand has been established initially as a university start-up that has expanded to serve a global clientele, and is only available online. 

Our suppliers operate a print-on-demand business model.
Print-on-demand (POD) helps reduce waste and overproduction by creating products only when an order is placed by a customer, which means each purchase is personalised. 
With POD, every item is made only after an order is placed. This means there’s no leftover stock, and nothing gets produced without a buyer.
By way of contrast in traditional retail, products are made in bulk ahead of time to cut costs. But this often leads to overproduction—items that don’t sell are thrown away or even burned. In fact, the fashion industry alone discards about 92 million tons of textiles each year.
